Discover Your Past, Research Your Mormon Genealogy!

Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

By Randell Rogfend The Mormon Church (LDS or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) is well known for their collection of genealogy records. There are many ways you can find information on genealogy records: 1. Search the Mormon Church’s huge genealogy record collection using a free genealogy search engine. You will find searches, indexes and a bottomless amount of helpful information on how to find genealogy records. There are many free genealogy sites on the internet you must bookmark and cannot be without. 2. The Latter Day Saints Church offers this free booklet to assist you in searching for your roots. Tips: You want to collect and collate as much information as you can. It is most exciting to start with your self and then turn toward the other members of your present generation followed by people of your immediately previous generation like Father and Mother, then go up one level at a time. Keep digging on as much as possible to reach the possible root of your family tree. What sort of information do you require? The answer is simple. Name, Date and Place of Birth, Other Members in the family, marriage date and the details about the spouse, Date and place of death of an Individual. You must try to find out the ancestral village of the members and their occupation both in present and the past. There is much information contained in databases, but finding what you are searching for can be tricky. Be sure to try various spellings of the surname and first name. Even try using first initials if you can’t find the person you are searching for by using their full name. Checking “Exact Spelling” will search for the name spelled in ONLY the way you have entered it in the search engine and therefore will put a limit on results. Morman Genealogy research can be completed through thorough research. It is easy to find a site which links to the majority of the Morman surname data on the web, as well as to individual Morman family trees, Morman origin and Morman meaning if known, and many other Morman genealogy resources. I have created a website which collects articles, information and resources which you can use to help you in your search. Please visit Mormon Genealogy. Good luck! Contesting a Will or a Trust. Can it Be Done?

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

By Phil Craig First, we must ask, what is contesting a will or a trust? Basically, contesting a will or a trust means that you are challenging the validity of the will or trust document. It is similar to the flag that is thrown in a pro football game after a call by the referee. In this case, the will or trust is assumed valid by the probate court judge. You are throwing out the flag and contesting the validity of the document in question. Contesting a will or trust usually rests on one or two of the following factors: undue influence in executing the will or trust, or that the person executing the will or trust lacked mental capacity to execute the will or trust at the time it was executed. What is undue influence in executing a will or trust? Here is the definition of undue influence: Undue Influence - Influence of another that destroys the freedom of a testator or donor and creates a ground for nullifying a will or invalidating a future gift. The exercise of undue influence is suggested by excessive insistence, superiority of will or mind, the relationship of the parties or pressure on the donor or testator by any other means to do what he is unable, practically, to refuse. So, if you can prove that the person who executed the will or trust was acting with undue influence, that is, was acting under pressure that was unable to refuse, you may have a basis to claim undue influence. This would give you one reason to contest a will or trust. The other method to contest a will or trust is that there was a lack of testamentary capacity. Testamentary capacity is the legal ability to make a will. In California, for example, Probate Code Section 812 says, in part, that a person lacks the capacity to make a decision unless the person has the ability to commnicate verbally, or by any other means, the decision, and to understand and appreciate, to the extent relevant, all of the following: (a) The rights, duties, and responsibilities created by, oraffected by the decision. (b) The probable consequences for the decision maker and, whereappropriate, the persons affected by the decision. (c) The significant risks, benefits, and reasonable alternativesinvolved in the decision. So, here, to contest a will or trust due to lack or testamentary capacity, you would have to show all three elements. This is a tough case but is not impossible. In my early legal career, I was able to obtain a $1,000,000 plus settlement for a client using the above elements. You can find more information about wills or trusts: Click Here. Pick-Up Women and Increase Your Confidence, Step By Step

Saturday, June 7th, 2008

By Avram Z Im shy. Ive always been shy. Its something you never grow out of - you just learn how to deal with it, or how to get around it. And when youre trying to pickup girls, shyness is a deal killer. So how did a painfully-shy guy, manage to become a successful Pickup Artist? (You can read more about that on my blog - See Author Bio below this article.) Well, the first step for us shy guys, is defeating that very problem. I did it, and you can too. The secret is to take things one step at a time. And very small (meaning easy to do) steps… Step 0: This is something you need to do, before you actually get started on your pickup training. And its simple. Find a place with lots of women. Lots & lots of women. You want to have a constant supply, and you want to be able to choose the women to approach (later on). Step 1: Lets say you chose my favorite training grounds: the mall. Lots of women, shopping, eating, picking up stuff… Walk through the mall and every time a woman walks by you, smile. Just look her straight in the eye and smile, nothing more. At worst, shell ignore you; at best, shell smile back (this one happens very often). Your purpose here, is just to get comfortable looking them in the eye and making contact. When smiling feels easy, youre ready to move up a notch. Step 2: Now, every time a woman comes into range, say Hi. Thats it. Just Hi.Keep it simple. Your purpose here, is just to get comfortable say something, anything, to a female stranger. Hi works. And it works well. Most women will smile at you - or even say Hi back! When saying Hi feels easy, youre ready to move up a notch. Step 3: Ask for directions. Again, we want to keep things simple. Easy. Just pretend youre trying to find a store at the other end of the mall. Say to her, Excuse me. Do you know where the store that sells octopi is? or Which way is Fat Burger? Your purpose here, is to actually have a Conversation (granted, a very short one), with a female stranger. Youll see that a large majority of women will stop in their tracks, and help you find your missing store. Step 4: Now its time to have a REAL conversation. Nervous? Dont be. I promised you - small, easy steps. So how do we do that here? Simple. Start with employees! Employees HAVE to talk to you. They HAVE to be nice - its their Job. So go into every store, walk up to one of the female staff, and start a conversation with her. Just say Hi, then start with the small talk. How great/bad the weather is out there. How great/badly the local baseball, football, hockey, soccer, cricket, whatever; team is doing. Step 5: Now make the conversation more personal. Still using store staff, start a conversation on something about Her. How you like her clothes, her purse, her interesting & unique jewelry item. How you like her hairstyle, or the way she did her makeup - and how it fits her look really well. A compliment is NOT a great opening pickup line, by the way. But it IS a great way, to practice talking to women. Step 6: Same as Step 4, but with random women. Now youre talking to strangers, by walking up to them and starting a conversation about small talk things. Step 7: Same as Step 5, but with random women. Now youre talking to strangers, by walking up to them and starting a conversation about personal things. Get the idea? When you perform any of those Steps, a couple dozen times, it gets easy. So easy its boring! So boring, you cant wait to move up to the next Step. Once youve reached this point, youre ready to move on to effective pickup techniques, that result in your getting her contact information. But to do that, theres much more you need to know first, about attitude, body language, - and yes, even great pickup lines! So continue reading the second part of this article on my blog, right now! http://jewishdating-service.blogspot.com Avram went from no girlfriends, to TOO MANY girlfriends - and you can read more about how he did this, in his blogs diary at: Jewish Dating Service. And yes, what he did can work for ANY guy - not just guys who live on chicken soup. ;-) Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Avram_Z http://EzineArticles.com/?Pick-Up-Women-and-Increase-Your-Confidence,-Step-By-Step&id=560214 no hassel unsecured loans need college money now no loans online paycheck calculator el paso bad credit used car loan

A Major Key to Pain Relief: Using Your Subconscious to Alter Your Brain Chemistry

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

By Ben Plumb Chemical reactions move pain signals along a pathway from your body to your brain. By using visualization statements to focus your subconscious on potential weak points along that pathway, you may be able to reduce the signal enough to get relief. Visualization statements represent the specific language that your subconscious wants you to read back to it to help ease your pain. Theyre simple and are targeted directly at the main factors that could bring you relief. You can obtain these statements by learning how to communicate directly with your own subconscious mind. The process is straightforward and can be done at home by working with a facilitator over the telephone. You you need no special skills and no previous experience in working with the subconscious. Working with Brain Chemistry Over one hundred different neurotransmitters are known to exist and to interact with one another in extremely complex ways. Four of these chemicals directly increase the pain signal. Glutamate, substance P, norepinephrine, and acetylcholine are pain transmitters that all play a role in sending or magnifying the signal. Four other chemicals directly reduce the pain signal. Endorphins, GABA, serotonin, and dopamine are pain relievers that counteract the effects of some or all of the above four pain transmitters. These chemicals operate in back pain or pain in the neck or other extremities, arthritis pain, fibromyalgia pain, or neuropathic pain (nerve pain). In our work we’ve found that the subconscious usually suggests that you visualize a decrease in the levels of the four pain transmitters, and an increase in the levels of the four pain inhibitors. It then provides the specific visualization statements that it believes are adequate to attain those results. Devising A Strategy Reducing pain involves more than simply striving to reduce or increase the levels of the above neurotransmitters. It also involves using the subconscious to try to strategically reduce the pain signal as these chemicals help to pass it through three different stages on its way to the brain: Stage 1: The pain signal begins in the skin, the joints, the lower back muscles, or anyplace else that receives a painful stimulus. Level 1 nerve cells pick up the signal and send it to the spinal cord for processing. Stage 2: In the spinal cord, Level 2 nerve cells modify the signal. This stage is where radical increases in the signal take place. The Level 2 neurons send the modified signal to the thalamus, the pain processing center in the brain, but at this point you don’t yet feel any pain. Stage 3: In the brain, Level 3 nerve cells move the signal from the thalamus to the cortex, where it you actually experience it as pain. Each stage contains numerous chemical weak points that we call leverage points where it may be possible to use visualizations to reduce the pain signal. Engaging the Subconscious If you can learn to engage your subconscious, you most likely will be able to identify which neurotransmitters and leverage points apply to you. You can then try to use visualization statements to give your subconscious the daily reinforcement it needs to possibly take the edge off your pain.
